There continue to be policy debates on how to make Africa prosperous. Some advance the need for aid, and others foreign direct investment (FDI). Others, like our think-tank, The Eastern Caucus (TECA),  primes that the quickest solution from poverty to prosperity is to energize the numerous small enterprises and start-ups on the continent, train, register, and scale them up to compete globally.

International aid is dead and has not worked in the last five decades. It creates passive consumers who expect charity. Our thesis of work, innovation, and open market competition create jobs, wealth, and prosperity.

For Zimbabwe, with most of her trained personnel opting to migrate to Europe and work, we proffer an alternative. Get into business! Start- however difficult the circumstances. Start small, fail, learn, and grow.

The Prosperity Catalysts Clubs (PCC) is a voluntary network of young entrepreneurs that connects, share information, training, and emotional support to scale up their businesses.

Zimbabwe has some formal incubation hubs.
