The present circumstances in Zimbabwe
60% of Zimbabwe’s population is under 25 years (World Bank, 2023)
70% of youth are trapped in informal sector jobs (ZimStat, 2024)
Only 12% of college graduates secure formal employment (UNICEF, 2023)
-
Zimbabwe ranks 140th globally in the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Index (2023)
Our Solution
Prosperity Catalyst Clubs (PCCs) channel youth energy into entrepreneurship and innovation. We use coaching, networking, mentorship, and market linkages as low-cost but high-impact methodologies to bridge the gap between education and employment.
The government’s recent openness to “ease of doing business” reforms creates a rare window for supporting and promoting entrepreneurship through voluntary networks like PCC.
Our Impact
Active Presence
Since January 2025, PCCs are already active in 2 universities across Zimbabwe
Youth Trained
35 rural youths and students trained through debates and skills workshops
Partnerships
50+ local businesses partnered to provide industrial attachment placements
The Bigger Picture
PCC’s are the hot-topic on the continent as society moves from welfare to entrepreneurship. The rhetoric of Africa being naturally endowed with resources remains void if the resources do not directly contribute to prosperity.
The opportunities presented by the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) among other market reforms means PCCs become a key driver for growth, development and happiness in Africa.
